The R.C.M.P typically referred two as “The Mounties”, are as much a symbol of Canada as the Maple Leaf. Their proud heritage began by the order of Canada’s first Prime Minister, Sir John A. MacDonald to bring law and order to the North West Territories in 1873 and continues world wide today.
